A/V equpiment
- Recording (1 of these for each simultaneous session):
- Microphone with reasonable long cord (or wireless)
- Need to make sure that we can both record and feed an amplifier in the room
- Video capture - videocam preferred.
- Slide capture - maybe this can be arranged in advance.
- DV camara X 6 - backup
We should think about audio out to the venue's equipment, to simplify the number of mics for the speaker.
Cabling (we're hoping to back haul the info to a central spot. Wifi won't be so good in this case, as participants in the rooms might be using some of the bandwidth here.)
For the Wikimania Lounge, we probably want an IRC server (maybe a temporary relay for a known network?), as well as places to leave voice/video messages -- maybe even an interactive terminal.
